COMOX VALLEY TENNIS CLUB CELEBRATING COMMUNITY TENNIS
The club has purchased a new leafer blower.
To thank the Town of Comox for the beautiful job they did resurfacing courts 5&6 we would like to engage the membership to keep courts 5&6 free of debris. This will go a long way to maintain the surface and keep the courts playable.
Please consider signing up for week here or there for court clearing duties. The link below takes you to a sign up sheet. No need to save, just type your name next to a week that can commit to.
The battery and charger are plugged in next to the ball machine in the equipment room. The blower itself is up on a shelf. It's really easy to use and has lots of power.
The club will be having it's end of season AGM Saturday September 21st at noon. There will be a review of the year to date financial statements, a scintillating president's report, election of the new executive .......and did I mention FREE LUNCH !

On Saturday March 23 from 10 am - 2 pm we will be hosting our annual Sign-up day. We'll be opening the club house, serving coffee and snacks, renewing memberships and signing up new members. There will also be sign-up sheets for spring leagues and volunteer opportunities. Who knows, it may even be possible to hit some balls !

Marion and Pat McGrath along with Mike Barner are organizing a Tennis Event to remember Ernest. It is scheduled for March 14th in the morning at Anderton courts.
Details will be posted on the CVTC web site closer to the date.
The fencing project at Lewis Park is complete. So courts are open again !
Squeegees are available at Lewis Park. Front desk staff at the Lewis Centre are happy to lend them to players wishing to dry off the courts and have suggested that to expedite this process that players call ahead of time. This makes it more efficient for the players and more manageable for the staff.
Get your dancing shoes ready and mark your calendar for the tennis club Christmas Party, Friday December 14th.
More info for sign up coming soon.
As president of the Campbell River Tennis Club I would like to extend an invitation to you and your members to come to our tennis mixer on Saturday July 7th.
