A new battery has been ordered for the ball machine. It should be here and installed in a week or so under the supervision of Mr Wong.

In the meantime if you use the ball machine and it dies just put it back and plug in the Charger.

Tennis Day in Canada is only three days away! Be sure to share photos and videos from your Tennis Day in Canada event for a chance to win amazing prizes!

Beginning on Saturday, May 13 at 10 AM, individual participants may start uploading photos or videos to their Twitter or Instagram accounts. Each post with the hashtag #tennisday is equal to one entry. The more you post, the more entries you have and the greater your chance of winning!

The contest will end on Sunday, May 14 at 8 PM. No entries will be accepted beyond that time. Winners will be determined on Monday, May 15, 2017. Recipients will be contacted through the social platform in which they shared their photos and/or videos with further information on their prize. The CVTC in partnership with The Tennis Professionals Association (TPA), Tennis Canada and Tennis BC, we would like to invite you to participate in the first-ever Tennis Day in Canada on Saturday, May 13^th at Anderton court starting at 10 AM. Bring your family & friends, drop by the club house to meet our Professional tennis coach Brenda Dean and club executive. This is an excellent way to meet other tennis players, learn more about the tennis club activities as well as give tennis a try if you are thinking about the game.

To All CVTC Members,

The Season Grand Opening will be at Anderton on Saturday, May 6^th starting at 10 AM, bring your tennis gears & drop by the club house to meet the new executives. We will have foods & refreshments for the opening date. We plan to have lots of fun social tennis as well as the famous “One Point” Tournament but remember, if you cannot handle the “heckling”, don’t play on court 4.

Perfect weather & excellent turnout for the season 1st TGIF at Anderton club house. Over 40 new & not so new members attended the social event. As always, Marion & Pat did a fantastic job on the BBQ & salad. Catherine "Single-handedly" managed the doubles lineup with a little help from the Happy Doubles computer program. All six courts were fully utilized for fun tennis & heckling were ongoing at court 4. 

Can't wait for the next TGIF. Well done team.
