The Comox Valley tennis club has a variety of ways for members both new and not so new to get involved and have both fun and challenges on the courts.
We realize that joining a new club and not knowing anyone to play with is a big problem . It's often difficult to meet other players at the start and weekly drop ins are a wonderful solution especially at the beginning of each season.
In previous years, the drop ins would start the first Friday evening after the March registration and run for two months until the leagues started. The drop ins are informal, just show up and we try to match you up with other players of similar abilities throughout the evening. Many tennis players start out meeting people at the drop ins, exchange phone/cell/e-mail addresses and begin to find people they would like to play with and perhaps even partner with when the leagues start.
For now however, there are no regular events scheduled but we are still getting new people moving to the Comox Valley who are joining the club. We are making every effort to connect new members with other new members and not so new members who have similar skills. Everyone benefits! Come join us!
